Fax via Email

This article explains how to send faxes directly from an email account using the Level365 Fax via Email service. It covers the required email format, how the subject and message body function as a cover sheet, supported attachment types, and important sending requirements. It also includes best practices and common limitations to help ensure successful fax delivery.

 

  1. Compose a new email.
  2. In the To field, enter the 10-digit fax number followed by @fax.level365.com.
    • Example: A fax number of (555) 123-4567 would be entered as 5551234567@fax.level365.com.
  3. Enter a subject and message. The email subject and body will be used as the fax cover sheet.
  4. Attach the document(s) to be faxed.
  5. Click Send to transmit the fax.

 

For best results, we recommend:

  • Sending (1) attachment per eFax.
  • Documents cannot be password protected/encrypted.
  • Supported file types include, but are not limited to: .PDF .DOC .DOCX .RTF .TIF .TIFF .TXT
