Level365 Faxing Services Overview

Level365 offers multiple faxing solutions to meet a variety of business needs  from fully digital workflows to traditional fax machine integration. This page provides an overview of available faxing methods, step-by-step instructions for sending and receiving faxes, and guidance on troubleshooting common issues.

Level365 Fax Services

Level365 supports the following faxing options

  • Fax ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter): For customers who still use traditional fax machines or multifunction copiers, a Fax ATA device allows you to send and receive faxes over the internet while maintaining a familiar faxing experience.
  • Fax via Email: Send faxes directly from your email client using a simple address format.
  • Fax via Web App (Portal): Upload and send faxes securely through the Level365 Web App.
  • Fax to Server Service: Delivers inbound faxes directly to a designated folder on the client’s server or shared network location. Faxes are saved as digital files, allowing for easy access, storage, and distribution without the need for a physical fax machine. Note: Fax to Server is for inbound faxing only. An additional service, such as a Fax ATA or Fax to Email, is required for outbound faxing.

Security and Compliance

  • Fax via Email may not meet HIPAA compliance standards, as messages are delivered to unencrypted email inboxes.
  • Fax via Web App and the Fax ATA utilize secure HTTPS encryption between devices and Level365 servers, making them more appropriate for environments that require encrypted communication.
