Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your Level365 account by requiring both your password and a time-based code generated from an authenticator app. Enabling MFA helps protect your account even if your password is compromised. This article explains how to set up MFA with Level365 and how to manage your MFA settings.
Users signing in through Single Sign On (SSO) will use the MFA provided by their identity provider (Google or Microsoft). Level365’s built-in MFA will be bypassed. For more information about SSO, see our article Using Single Sign On (SSO).
Enabling MFA
- Sign in to the Portal at app.level365.com.
- Click your account name in the upper-right corner and select Profile.
- Scroll to the Change Account Security section and click Set Up Google Authenticator.
- Install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device if you haven’t already.
- Open the app, tap the +, select Scan a QR Code, and scan the QR code shown in the portal.
- Before entering the verification code, enter your current password in the Current Password field to avoid code expiration during setup.
- Enter the code from the Authenticator app into the Passcode field and click Save.
Disabling MFA
- Return to your Profile page.
- Click the red X next to Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Enter your current password and click Save to confirm.
