Set Voicemail PIN

A Voicemail PIN secures access to voicemail and must meet defined system requirements. This article outlines where the Voicemail PIN is configured in the Level365 Web App and the rules that apply when setting or updating it.

Set or Change a Voicemail PIN

  1. Sign in to the Level365 Web App.
  2. Select the username in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose Profile from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the Profile window, locate the Voicemail PIN section.
  5. Enter a new PIN that meets the requirements listed below.
  6. Save the changes. 

Voicemail PIN Requirements

The Voicemail PIN must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Numeric characters only
  • Minimum of 4 digits
  • Cannot contain the same digit repeated four times (example: 1111)
  • Cannot use sequential numbers (example: 1234)
  • Cannot match the user’s extension number

For added security, the voicemail PIN can be set to more than four digits. Using a longer PIN helps keep the account and extension safe and secure.
