Updating User/Extension Name and Email

This article goes over how an Office Manager can go about reassigning an extension in the organization portal

Office Managers will have two views of the portal, their individual portal and the organization portal. To find how to switch between views, click HERE

Go to Users

Click on the Name of the Extension to be Reassigned

Click on Advanced

Click on Reset User

Once you click on Reset User, check the box Recycle User then Reset

When resetting and reassigning an extension, you can select different options to save or delete settings from the previous user. To keep any of the settings, leave the boxes unchecked next to the options before clicking Reset

A message asking to confirm you want to reset the extension will pop up. Click reset to confirm

Fill Out the First Name, Last Name, and Email

Click Save

Checking Send Welcome Email is optional
